The Galette des rois

  • The new pastry chef at Molitor, Louise Riot, is presenting her first Galette des Rois, created for the Parisian establishment, at the beginning of January.
    A recent arrival, the young chef with a sunny personality, advocates desugared pastry with simplicity and gourmandise.
    She researches, is inspired and innovates to be as close as possible to the product and to use it in all its complexity. 

    The Galette des Rois is composed of a Viennese pastry, hazelnut frangipane and candied Buddha Hand, this citrus fruit from Asia makes all the difference. It is accompanied on top by a hazelnut praline with caramelized hazelnuts.  

    Surprise: it is not 1, nor 2 but 3 beans that prove to be winners if you find them: 
    -The red Molitor bean: 1 30-minute facial at the Spa by Clarins**. 
    -The green Molitor bean: 2 entries to the pool**.
    -The blue Molitor bean: 1 night for two people**.

    **Subject to availability, except during Roland Garros and certain summer weekends. Valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

    Orders can be picked up directly at Molitor on the following dates from 10am to 6pm:

    -From January 4th to 8th included
    -From January 13th to 15th included
    -And from January 20th to 22nd included
