Molitor is Green Globe certified! Evaluated on the basis of a demanding set of over 380 indicators, this certification rewards travel and tourism professionals committed to improving their sustainable, social and environmental impact on a daily basis. We are proud of this achievement, and continue to be concerned about today's major challenges as we move towards ever more sustainable hospitality.

Tourisme & Handicap

The only government label awarded to tourism professionals committed to a quality approach focused on accessibility to leisure activities and vacations for all, Molitor will be awarded the label in December 2023. Among the label's criteria: easy access to the buildings and facilities (including our pools), and a personalized welcome for tourists in terms of attention and friendliness.

Zero Plastic

Since 2022, Molitor has proudly gone “0 single-use plastic” throughout the hotel's entire customer experience.

  • • No shampoos, conditioners or shower gels packaged in single-use plastic bottles
  • • No single-use plastic stirrers
  • • No single-use plastic straws
  • • No single-use plastic bottles
  • • No beverages in single-use plastic packaginge
  • • No single-use plastic cups
  • • No single-use plastic plates or cutlery

Waste management

  • • Waste recycling: employees sort waste on a daily basis (composting, plastics recycling, paper and cardboard recycling, steel and aluminum recycling, glass recycling).
  • • Fight against food wastee

Water

  • • Water-saving showers and toilets
  • • Option to refuse daily maid service and reuse towels
  • • Pools heated 70% by the CPCU urban network (50% green energy), 20% by the heat recovery circuit of our air conditioning system and 10% by the heat recovery circuit of our cold rooms
  • • Pools undergo in-depth daily maintenance on water treatment equipment
  • • Pool lighting and filtration subject to strict schedules
  • • Water fountains

Energy and greenhouse gases

  • • Lighting mainly with energy-saving LED bulbs
  • • Double glazing on all windows
  • • Electricity controlled via accommodation key/motion detector
  • • The pools are heated by the district heating network - CPCU - which produces heat from mainly renewable and recovered energy sources.

Destination and local community

  • • Promotion of tours and activities organized by local guides and professionals
  • • A platform for local artists to showcase their work
  • • Information on local culture, heritage and ecosystems, and advice on local etiquette
  • • Food offered predominantly of local origin and organically grown

Nature

  • • No staging of/interaction with wild (non-domesticated) animals kept in captivity on the premises. No capture, consumption or sale of wild animals or protected species.
  • • Green spaces close to the facility (park, roof garden, etc.)
  • • Bicycle hire
  • • Public bicycle parking close to the facility
  • • Promotion of environmentally-friendly modes of transport for our guests
  • • Molitor has beehives on its roof and produces its own honey.
  • • Electricity controlled via accommodation key/motion detector

SOLIDARITY PARTNERSHIP

  • Princesse Margot: Molitor supports the Princesse Margot association throughout the year (organization of the traditional galette des rois, invitations to well-being events for children and their families). We are committed to supporting the association in its various initiatives aimed at helping families fighting this difficult battle.
  • Gustave Roussy: As part of the Mieux vivre le cancer program, Gustave Roussy has been running an innovative sports and well-being program since May 2015: MOLITOR Evasion. The Molitor Evasion program is a comprehensive program combining adapted physical activity sessions, a mindfulness meditation course and beauty treatments as part of a remission in the face of illness.
