Opened in 1929, Molitor quickly established itself as Paris’s most iconic and popular swimming pool for over 60 years. Closed in 1989 and later listed as a historic monument, the building was taken over by graffiti artists, transforming it into a vast space for artistic expression and, over time, a true temple of Parisian underground culture. Street artists from around the world have left their mark here, from New York legend Seen to Parisian artist Psyckoze, as well as Jace’s iconic Gouzou from Réunion Island. Art has never left Molitor — from the hotel lobby and the blue cabins surrounding the indoor pool to La Manufacture and beyond. A curated collection of numbered lithographs by renowned artists also adorns the hotel rooms and the walls of several communal spaces
